Christmas mulled wine recipe!

The festive season is approaching and Christmas specialities are back!
Andréas from the restaurant "Chez Andréas" shares his recipe for Christmas mulled wine.
An authentic winter recipe to warm and flavour any kitchen.


Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes



  • 2 litres of dry red wine
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cloves
  • Zest of one orange
  • Zest of one lemon
  • 50ml cane sugar syrup
  • 50ml dark rum



Step 1: Grate the lemon and orange zests.

2- Pour the wine into a saucepan and add the zest, syrup, rum and spices. Bring to the boil, then turn off the heat and cover.

3- Leave to infuse for 30 minutes, then reheat.

4- Strain and serve with a slice of orange.




Enjoy mulled wine and other delicacies in the restaurant's cosy, warmly-coloured dining room or on the terrace overlooking the sea and hills.
