Ora Ïto's first exhibition at the Galerie Podgorny, Grammatology, Part One returns to the grammar of her volumetric language, which constitutes the essence of her practice.
Line, circle, square, rectangle... Ora Ïto's works are composed of the most elementary geometric forms. Made up of black or coloured aluminium sheets fixed to a white composite base, they set out, element by element, his formal vocabulary. Their mineral and geometric sobriety, and their vivid monochrome, evoke both a modern purity and a pop diversion - the two faces of Ora Ïto's visual universe.
