Jack Métal 06 lives and works in Saint-Paul de Vence.
He started his aritstic activity at the time he retired as a simple hobby which quickly turned into a passion to the point of becoming a creative necessity.
He started collecting old rods of cast iron in his garden and began welding and shaping them. He produced his first bust following his wife's request and realized then that he had reached his communication mode!
Jack Metal 06 rises to the artistic and technical challenge of shaping, soldering and fashioning old pieces of steel rebar!
I love steel's aggressiveness...
... and the robustness of stone. I aim to express my greatest emotions through my creations. The wrought iron I work with shapes me as much as I shape it. In the end, it helps me forge my own talent.
"Most important of all however is the pleasure I get creating and sharing it with the public who after all is the one to assess my work through his perception", summarizes the artist with sincerety.
